Cobcast 2012 – Ep. 10 AKA My Hiroshima (Guests @PitchersHit8th & @gr33nazn)

26 Jul

I’m going to try to make this as short as possible. I was joined by the greatest Cobcast guests ever. I might retire.

The first twenty or so minutes are rather standard Cobcast content, discussing the NL Central, the trade deadline and speculation on the divisional and wildcard races.

Then, Dusty Baker comes up.

Then, Kenley Jansen comes up.

Then, all hell breaks loose and the forty minutes that follow cannot be explained, but rather, must be experienced.

Feel free to listen using the embedded player below, directly download the mp3 using the link below that, or wait a bit and find it on iTunes. I should warn you that if you’ve found anything I’ve said or done in the past offense, be prepared to reevaluate that as pedestrian or forgettable after listening to this. Oh, and there’s some baseball science fiction involved.

  1. NLCS Q&A With The Curse of Benitez | Pitchers Hit Eighth - October 15, 2012

[...] by Dennis on October 15, 2012 · 0 comments Hello there! If you are new here, you might want to subscribe to the RSS feed for updates on this topic.Armando Benitez has cursed us all, and the founder of Benitez Has Cursed Us, David Schubert, wants you all to stand up and recognize, yo.  If you think that sentence makes no sense, then you should try following the stream of semi-consciousness that is Schube’s Twitter feed.  He’s a sucker for misspelled words and ignorance, the troll’s troll, and a huge Skrillex fan.  Also, PitchersHitEighth and I kind of owe him for blowing up one of his podcasts a while back.  If you want to be offended while giggling at grown men discussing alternate universe theories, then click here.
